So apparently the "president" thought what he had to say was SO DAMNED IMPORTANT that he needed to preempt a new episode of 24. FOX, being as it is an organization bent on my destruction, decided to reschedule 24...for the same timeslot as Alias on another network.
If you're anything like me (and you should be), you've already stabbed yourself in frustration. Stop stabbing, friend; I have created, free of charge, an artist's rendition of exactly what was going to happen in that episode. Sure, it's not the same as the real thing -- but it's shorter. You gotta give me that.

(Seriously can't yours do simultaneous recording? If not I'll make you a tape of 24. Possibly cutting in embarrassing footage of you I found in EV whenever the plot gets stupid like utilizing a question of paternity to fill time. Look for the NBC spinoff "Law and Order: Counter Terrorist Unit Family Law Unit" Don't think they won't. "Meet my folks" showed their threshold, and that was before the Must-Quit Comedy. And you'll have to watch it. Nobody doesn't like Law and Order.

I like 'Criminal Intent', but that's the only one, and only because what's-his-name is awesome. You know, that guy.
Anyway, no, I must have gotten the inferior Tivo that only records one thing at a time. (People who don't have DirectTV would also call this the only kind.) There are of course alternatives, such as that old standard, the VCR. But what am I, a caveman?
