Somebody likes Showgirls more than Andrew?

David Schmader, who provides the audio commentary for the "VIP edition" on DVD (out Tuesday), has seen Showgirls over 100 times.

I, unbelievably, still haven't seen it once.

Gee, whoever wrote that article really hated Showgirls.

They love it in France, you know.

That article reminds me, I now have a copy of The Book Of Mormon Movie on DVD. That movie was easily the funniest movie of last year.

I feel it is my duty to show it to as many people as possible (short of putting up a bit torrent for it). The camp potential is great. I'll show you when to shout "Tie him to the mast!" in that inimitable way that had 2 different mormon family patriarchs walking across the theater to passive-aggressively imply I should stop riffing on the movie.

BOMM party anyone?

Sounds good -- but it sounds like it would be much more fun in a theatre filled with Mormons. (And how many things can THAT phrase apply to?)
