It's baseball time

My baseball viewing schedule is already packed, and it starts Friday in Atlanta with the Braves vs. the Mets.

I'm getting my custom scorebook ready. (Yes, I'm a huge nerd, I know. Andrew has already let me know multiple times.) I was looking through the old ones and found this doodle I did of John Rocker, right about the time he totally melted down and had to be sent down to the Braves' Triple-A team in Richmond. Among the people mad at him: people with Purple Hair, Twisted Sister, and John Schuerholz.

Where is Rocker now? I have no idea.

I seem to remember seeing Mr. Rocker pitching for the Devil Rays on one of those spring training highlight reels on ESPN though I don't think he's on any major league roster.

James are you planning on hitting any of the Braves games at RFK in a couple weeks? I'll be there at the Thursday afternoon game with my big red foam tomohawk!

The taunting e-mails to Mets fans started going out late last night, by the way . . .

I've got tickets for that first Wednesday night Nats-Braves game... likewise, I think our family foam tomahawk will be making an appearance.

In answer to your question - see here:

I have every intention of heading out to LI and mocking him mercilessly.
