By the way, my favorite reporter-speak is "efforting," which means "trying for," as in, "Big Pinz is efforting the story about Pup being flaming." I love it because it's absolutley ridiculous - only one keystroke shorter than "trying for" and actually longer than "pursuing," which is also sometimes used. We're idiots.
I generally eschew pinball tournaments because they are entertainment for the lower classes.
