Dan Fogelberg, official singer/songwriter of Furdell.com -- a title he didn't even know he had -- has passed away, at the age of 56. Remember, kids: check your prostate regularly (where applicable).
Though I hadn't thought of him in years, I found myself quite saddened by Fogelberg's death at 56. I have an old tape with his big hits, my favorite of which one still hears every Kentucky Derby day: Run for the Roses.
